Supplementary Material

Click here for a hand-out explaining several different methods for putting a quadratic function in standard form and for finding the zeros of a quadratic function.

Click here for a long hand-out on exponential functions. This hand-out tries to convince you that working with exponential functions is a lot like working with lines and sketches a method for finding formulas for exponential functions that is analogous to the familiar "point-slope" method for finding equations of lines. You will probably NOT find this handout very helpful if your instructor has not used this approach in class.
